Vision

Since February 2000 I was started experiencing the life which God has called me. That is leading my life with purpose in the area of Evangelism and Discipleship. 

In 2000

The Reason for my Vision

In the year 1998-2000 there was one titled preaching “ the end of the age is coming so that repent your sin” the people who is sinner cannot have eternal life. “If you want to have eternal life, you should be sinless”. In the time of Jesus second coming Jesus throw the sinner people into the lake of fire, so that being sinless to enter in the kingdom of God. These and a type of preaching makes a question in my mind everyday like “how can I be sinless” because of according to the preaching when I evaluate my work in everyday I was find sin in my life, work, feeling, motives… even if the things that I have done good.

In those time had a desire to be part of the kingdom than before else. Because of that I had think everyday like if I was died in this day I I’m sure I will not enter into the kingdom of God. This leads me from day to day more tension and tension about the kingdom of God or eternal life.

The time of my Vision:

In 2000 when I was grade 8 student in the mid semester break I was decided to help my family and neighborhood. Because of my decision I was selected the job shepherding the goat of my family and neighborhood for two week of my rest time. In the day February 12 at 8:30 I was reading from Bible Romans Chapter 9 and 10 in my shepherding place. From chapter 9 I understood the following things:

Understanding:

1.  How the people are against God and sinful

2.  How God is patient enough with sinful man “God unfailing Love”

From chapter 10: 9-10, I have got the message or answer about my question of eternal life. When I was reading this two verses I was amazed and asked God what these verses saying? When I praying this prayer I seen the light and fell down on the ground. In this moment I was understood the only way to have eternal life is believing in Jesus as died and raised up from died for my sin by confessing in his mouth and believing in his heart. Immediately I had did it.

Surprise:

The amazing thing is still that time I was a Christian even serving by teaching Sunday school students in my local Church.

Conviction:

In that moment I was understood God’s loves for all people either Christian or non Christian. So that He has a purpose for each of them for the Christian as Israelite’ he want to see them when they growing up in knowing and being liking Christ. And for the non Christian he wants to hear the gospel of salvation (Christ).

Contract:

So that I was decided and signed the following    contract with God to accomplish what God has reveled me.

‘O lord! As I understood today your purpose is to save all the people, so that I will give my life today for this your purpose. Please be faithful to help me until my college graduation then I will serve you I my full-time in the area (Discipleship and Evangelism) of you reveled me today. We have to assured that in our signature as follows:

God	I
I will promise to be faithful to helping you in your study. God’s signature	I will promise to serve you in my fulltime in the area of discipleship and Evangelism as you reveled me now after my college graduation.                   My signature

After my graduation according to my contract with the Lord I have joined Great Commission Ministry Ethiopia as a full time missionary in July 2007.
